Our Yorba Linda Mustangs attended the 77th Annual Mt. SAC XC Invitational on Friday to prepare for league finals this upcoming week.

Lizzie Clark, 8th place in D3 Girls JV Yellow * Top Ten Finish
Makai Barnett, D3 Boys Frosh Blue
Brooke Gutierrez, D3 Girls Frosh Green
Carlos Barry, D3 Boys Soph Red
Kara Kim, D3 Girls Soph Yellow
Our Varsity Girls team, including Senior Brooke Boyd, Juniors Savannah Gonzales, Isabella Wroblewski, and Camille Ta-Perez, and Freshman Brooke Habbestad, all crossed the line together, followed by Senior Lorelai Pohl and Sophomore Sydney Van Stralen in the D3 Girls Varsity Green Race.
Senior Toren Habbestad took an early lead in the D3 Boys Varsity Blue race, finishing in 16:16 for a first-place victory, followed by Junior Rio Maldonado, who posted an impressive Mt. SAC finish, along with Senior Michael Kowalyshyn, Sophomore Seth Block, Freshman Armani Aguirre, Junior Daniel Hernandez, and Sophomore Oscar Barajas.
